Saltwater Farmhouse

This new house needed to be designed upon the exact footprint of the old 70's style dilapidated house which was torn down due to its proximity to the water.  A 30% increase to the foundation was allowed.  A classic saltwater farmhouse was the inspiration for the new home.  A carriage house was subsequently designed and built on an adjacent lot to create somewhat of a compound.  Both structures take full advantage of the exceptional views offered by this property.
