This oceanfront home started out as a small ranch with strict limitations as to how much it could be expanded. After some in-depth investigation, it was determined that the new house could actually expand more than anticipated.  A kayak trip along the coast with the client created inspiration from the historic shingled, cottage and craftsman style homes along the coast nearby.
